Ok, it now 4 1/2 weeks since my TT, saw the plastics doc today. Swelling is slowly going down and he pretty much told me everything looks great. I was having a little pain yesterday from the hernia after standing for a protracted length of time but he said that was nothing to worry about and told me "Then don't stand up for that long". I guess the problem is that I feel so good that I forgot that I'm still supposed to be taking it a bit easy. Anyway, still wearing the binder for at least another week when I see him again.
On a slightly different note. I went to a new support group meeting that is being run by the woman who was my bariatric caseworker. Everybody there is was pre-op as it is a new practice for this particular surgeon and I was held up as an example of what you can achieve. Everybody was peppering me with a ton of questions and I think I did pretty good answering them. One lady was real bummed out when I told her I couldn't eat mac and cheese anymore. My friend later took me up to meet a few patients who had just had their surgeries to reassure and inspire them. I felt like I was being a real ambassador for WLS. Who knows, maybe I could start being an inspirational speaker of some kind.

I have no clue what is going on with my heart. Last week I had a bad pain in my chest. It went to my collar bone. It last for about 15 mins. I went to the E.R. here in little albemarle. The wrote on my paper unknown cause. They did't know a damn thing. It pissed me off. I didn't know anything when I left. I went for a stress test on Wednesday I will know the results on Monday.My mom died of a heart attack when she was only 45 years old. I am 42 and it scares me. My brother had a bad stroke at 41. My dad has had open heart done 2 times on him before he was 40. The 40's are not good to my family. So I got so scared. I cried and cried. If it anit one freaking thing it is another. I am so freaking sick of being sick. I felt good for like 6 weeks and then back to my hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have I been so mean in my life that I am getting what I deserve. My work is so pissed at me for being out so much. I know I am going to get the boot soon. I work for the county and they don't play. I am just way to sick to try to hold down a job. But I am single with 2 kids. The doctor in the ER ask me how was I even able to get out of the bed. IF he only knew....... At the ER my blood pressure was 68/40. Even with running my ass off it still only got up to 80/50. The man that done my test was worried. One doctor puts me off on another. Because they don't know what is wrong. And I am just tired of running back and forth..... I have a $30. co pay when I go. It is adding up like a mo fo......Sorry I just had to let it out............I love you people and hope all is well with you. God bless....And sorry this is so long. Please pray for me.

The scary thing for me is three teen girls driving all night by themselves. (did I get that right?) I as a mom would rather they get a room and drive during the day when it is safer (can see better if nothing else.) If they don't have the money for a room, maybe you could work out a payment thing with her, call ahead and reserve the room on your credit card and let the girls spilt that cost as well as gas, etc. It's a tough call, I had a boy and I think a girl would be harder to say yes to this. Great to see you and thanks for the warm wishes. We missed you. I don't know about you not working, managing four duplexes seems like a pretty big job.
