I agree....and I would have NEVER, EVER left food on my plate...I would have eaten the last bite even if it killed me....now, I've been known to spit the third or fourth bite out because I know if I swallow it, it'll be coming back up anyway! Maria

That is SO exciting! Congratulations!!! Of the people I know who have been laid off (or fired in 2 cases), it turned out to be the best thing for them - they always fared better AFTER leaving. Very interesting... I hope you're very happy at the new place!

A wedge is better for balance and "in" this season! I wear high heels all the time now, but its funny, when I try them on at the stores, sometimes they're so high, I can't straighten my legs at the knees. How do people walk in shoes that high!?! LOL

Hi there - I would say the biggest change that isn't your typical is that I don't "waste calories" anymore. If I take a bite of something and I don't like it - I don't eat it. I mean, I'm sure we remember the days of eating anything and everything whether we liked it or not (eggplant was always an exception to this for me - I hate the stuff). But the same goes for a "cheat". If I have my heart set on a donut or some kind of treat and I take a bite and its not as good as I expected, I will throw it away. That was something I could have NEVER done before WLS.
