Having my tummy tuck has improved my self esteem. It was painful but that passed after a few days and then I was just really sore for a week or so. I go in Sept 11 for my arms..lol the girls are going to have to wait. You can handle it. Good luck
Topic: Two Years
Wow, I'm such a loser (and not in the good sense). My 2 year anniversary came and went. I remembered beforehand, but the date just slipped by I guess... Whoops. LOL
Anyway, I can't believe it has been 2 years. I have not had one single regret at any point in the journey thus far. I'm holding steady at 146-148 lbs (down from 282 - I'm 5'6"), and I feel fantastic. I do have to work on the exercise though - I was once very good about this, but after buying a new house, I just didn't work the gym into my new routine.
And my thanks goes out to you all - my online support system. Whether you know it or not, the amount of information I have learned from everyone on these boards has been invaluable and I appreciate that. When people ask if I go to a support group, I tell them about OH, because I really haven't felt the need to go anywhere else.
OK - take care everyone. Have a good day.
Topic: Abdominoplasty DATE!!!
Greetings all fellow July babies!
I know I haven't been around for a long time but as you all know it is like having a new life! I admit to being an avid LURKER!
I made the decision to get a full abdominoplasty with a breast lift! I want to "complete" the new me! I am heavier than I would like, but since I have really dedicated myself to exercise I cannot appreciate the progress with my excess skin and sagging "girls"! Even though I could lose more, my weight has been stable and I feel great! I feel that I would have a lot more incentive to remove the skin and be able to see the results better than to keep the skin and get discouraged! I want to improve myself as much as possible!
I would appreciate anyone that has had it done to clue me in on what to expect!
My surgery date is set for August 22!
I am so excited and scared at the same time!
We all went through this two years ago with the unknown, and it turned out WONDERFUL!
Thank you all for being there and GOD BLESS!
Love Jenna

Hi all!! Do not yell at me for not being here. Really sorry, but been really busy! Not only do I just plain get out more, we also in Feb. bought 4 duplexes, so it takes up a bunch of my time. Anyway....life goes on and all is well with me. I maintain around 155 to 160...depending on the time of the month it is. I have slacked off on exercise for some time, but am starting Muay Thai ( Thai Boxing) on Tuesday, and that KICKS YOUR ASS!! So, I am really looking forward to that. For the time being my husband is home, so that is great!! We just took a trip to NH a couple weeks ago to see family. They were all very happy to see me back to being me. It was a blessing to be able to see my Grammy with a smile on her face!! Well I guess that is about it. Hope you all are doing well, and I will TRY to get here more often than I do.

Hey Mo! I don't think I realized how many of us are july 18th- er's. That must have been a big surgery day all over. I so agree with you about enjoying the summer post weight loss. I used to always Hate the summer and the hot weather and now enjoy getting out in as much as possible. When I used to be so hot all the time and kept the air so low I am now usually freezing all the time, especially at night with air conditioning. Carry a light jacket with me most all the time. Right now, I can't even imagine that old life I had, and I hope never to live it again.
Still waiting for the windfall to be able to have plastic surgery, but I will be patient and see how things go. We did get a new insurance carrier at work starting July 1st so maybe that might be a new door opening......... time will tell. Love to you all here and hoping you are all having a great summer!
Andrea and Peter---- all the blessing in the world to you both on your big day. Can't wait to see some pictures.

Tammy ~ Sorry to hear about your bad luck. How did your 2 year check up go? I know you weren't taking vitamins and am worried about you. I am a faithful taker and still ended up with severe iron anemia (good news is that the B-12 levels were way high - doc said to keep them that way because once they get low they are HARD to get back up). I'm now taking extra iron (and stool softeners to counter the iron "effect") but the doc said if it's not up by Nov, that he'll send me to a hematologist. Please let us know how you're doing.
