Topic: RE: went out on my date last night
I'M SO excited for you! I'm glad it was a great date and you know what, kiddo? you are DEFINITELY worth it. Ya wanna know something? I have never EVER been on a date in my life! Even in high school... never dated. My parents wouldn't let me and I had an arranged marriage at 17. Now, I love my sweet husband of 24 1/2 years and we were lucky, I think... but sometimes I wonder...

Didn't mean to scare on the previous post. Just over- extended that's all. It's scary quitting your job and starting a new business. Some days, I feel like there is so much to do, so many things to take care of and that this is the largest project I have ever worked on in my life - that I can't move on any of my tasks at all... and so I procrastinate and do nothing - which is equally bad.
Man, this running your OWN biz crap is hard stuff.
I think of all the legal and the marketing and the code and the little things like what if a hundred thousand people come to the site and some of them are posting pedophile videos- ok, how do you prevent that from happening? What if the site gets too big too fast? Can I afford additional servers and programmers? What does that mean? What if I have this amazing site but I haven't spent enough on marketing? What if nobody knows it exists??
And add to that little mix - one kid on the football team and booster parent meetings, the other in boy scouts and boy scouting events, one in college who makes me crazy with worry, a father in law just passed away, a pile of bills (2 unexpected trips overseas, college tuition for a niece who couldn't pay and new business expenses) and no steady job anymore, my brainybetty.com business to run on my own, and a household to take care of: 10 loads of laundry a week and a 3,000 sq. foot house to clean; even my dumb, sweet lab is sick. Well, it's all overwhelming sometimes. I'm pretty stressed out and pooped out right now.
Man, I'm glad to get ALL that off my chest. I feel better just telling someone.
So, if any of you have some hints on what to do to get organized and get your life together... I SURELY would appreciate it!
Love all of you July Babies,
Nan
Topic: Holy ****!
I went shopping this morning (went to Maplewood mall) and was at Macys and found 4 pair of pants SIZE 8! I still can't believe it! They fit! SIZE 8! I was size 28 the day of surgery and they were tight! I'm so happy! Then after there I went to Victoria Secret, never have been in there in my lifetime, I found 2 bras (very expensive but what the hell, I'm worth it). Then went to Kohls and found 3 shirts size 12. (before surgery size 3 xl 26-28) I haven't been losing any weight lately but I guess it's been inches. Oh and the deal of the day, Tommy Hilfiger shirt regularly $74.00 on clearance $15.97.
Just had to share my wonderful day of shopping, I love to shop now.

Topic: Size 10
Today I bought a new jean skirt. A size 10! Really. A 10. A Ralph Lauren size 10. Really. A 10. Wow.
Just thought I'd share my good news. The weight loss isn't fast. And as I deal with my mental ambivalence on my weight (I haven't been this thin size wise since junior high) my loss has been slow and in fits and jerks. So, I reacted to the new sized skirt by eating a Look bar, but I'm past it now.
I started in tight 24/26 clothes.
Love,
-Pam
