Peter!
I miss you honey!
I wish I could give you a big hug right now.
Ok......I wont be stepping on the scale today, for reasons I wont mention Andrea!
However, I will take you up on the second half:
I rode a horse this summer. I kept asking.....are you SURE I'm not to fat to ride him?
I rode a roller coaster too.
I dropped out of the plus sizes and shop in regular stores
I run up stairs without getting even slightly winded.
And the biggest thing:
I'm re-evaluating decsions I made when I was fat. Do they still make me content. Am I still happy living with these decisions or is it time to make a change.
This experience has changed me....MIND, BODY and SPIRIT!
Love you all,
Malibu

No true!....Noone has ever dropped dead on my account!

today 211
total loss 122
The thing I did this summer that I would have never been able to do last summer. I drove from Nc to Co all by myself. The drive would have hurt me to be in a car that long before. I went hiking in Co and tore up some out let malls haha. The last time I went I had to sit in the car and wait for my husband to get done with his hike.

After a big jump up ( I gained over 6 pounds last weekend ), I am creeping my way back down. I am 3 pounds over my low.
Start 256
Today 155.4
Loss 100
I may not get down to my goal of 149, but you know what, most of the people I know who have never had a weight problem want to lose 5-10 pounds. I'll live
Now for things I couldn't do-- Hey I rode a roller coaster and didn't worry about it. The biggest accomplishment was that bike ride-- If you had told me I would ride 20 miles a day along with kayaking and short hikes AS A VACATION a year an a half ago, I would have laughed in your face and gone home and ate an ice cream sunday becuase I was so frustrated I huffed and puffed up subway stairs.
That is pretty darn cool!
Topic: Time to weigh in!!!
Ok it is pretty much the end of summer and I was thinking this week in addition to weighing in we should mention something you did this summer that you wouldn't or couldn't have done last summer because of your weight. I now we get so focused on numbers (I know I do) that sometimes I think we have to remember that what we have done is more than that. I am so thankful I did this surgery.
Here goes:
Start 350
Today 163.2 (I've pretty much stabilized at 165 +/- 2, which I'm happy with)
Loss 186.8
I've got many things I couldn't have done last summer so I will mention only 2. I've gone camping this summer. Yeah, I never would have done that heavy, it was way to uncomfortable, now it is totally fine. Also I now realize I wouldn't have been able to do my new job when I was heavy. The last 2 weeks I have been setting up computer equipment and such in our new schools and doing a great deal of crawling around on floors, under desks, moving furniture and equipment, to get things connected. When I was heavy that would have almost killed me, now it just agravates the surgical hernia I have but I can do it. Pretty cool!
Enjoy this last week of summer before the kids go back to school!

Topic: RE: SO Sorry Miss SUNNY G!
Wow.....can I relate to this or what!!!!
I've had my business for 4 years now.
I started out slow, we were in a very small house and my income wasn't as critical to our survival as yours is, but things changed when we moved and I definately felt the stress and heavy burdon on my shoulders once our standard of living increased.
All I can say babe is that the challenges and worries dont let up.....they increase (ouch...sorry) BUT your ability to handle them gets sooo much better. You will learn to prioritize and you will develop a system of running things that will make it all easier to handle. The other stuff can wait! Get those kids to help with the house work........tell em it's NOT optional......they will do it!
Honey! You can do this! I have no doubt at all! This is what you love and it will come naturally as soon as you get the kinks out. New businesses are ALWAYS hard to get off of the ground. YOU CAN DO THIS!
I love you babe!

Topic: Road to Thin website
Please note that I have added a message board and pregnancy info to the Road To Thin website.
I have the messageboard just in case anyone feels like posting/chatting somewhere else besides here.
I know the OH site and all it's info cannot be replaced or compared to... but sometimes folks just want somewhere else to talk. So if that is you and a few friends, feel free to head over.
