I've gained about 10 pds...for some its not much but for me it is, since I never made it to goal weight...

Not sure what symptoms you've been having; but I was happy to have mine gone (had it done several years before my WLS). My WLS surgeon removes it routinely because so many post-op patients experience gallbladder disease after losing weight. The gallbladder no longer needs to function as much or as frequently so it becomes stagnant and this increases the formation of stones. Best of luck.

I'm not sure that I'm pro-anorexia but I'm all for not gaining the weight back. I'm sure you've told us before, Amy, but how tall are you? I'm 5'8" and am sitting around 137....some people think that's too small for me but I keep telling them that I wouldn't be considered underweight until I'm around 120ish....I don't really purge....I just don't have much of a desire to eat a lot of the time....
As long as you're at a healthy weight - say your BMI is not less than around 18, then I'm sure you're fine. When was the last time you checked in with your surgeon or had a full range of blood tests? I find that my WL surgeon orders a different variety of tests than my PCM because he knows where to look for problems. So, please just stay healthy.

How is everyone doing these days. I hope you are all getting ready for christmas.
Up date on me...I am still here.....I still keep my weight 95-100.
If I get over 100 I stop eating. I am pro-anorexia....
My organs are good. I just have a little muscle loss in my legs.
I love the way I look. I don't need any p/s. I still can't believe it is me in my pictures. I still get carded when buying cigs for my 21 year old son. I love it. I love it. I love it........

Topic: Update on me
As some of you knew on Nov 28th I was having a hysterectomy. Well I did, but about two hours after the surgery I had a heart attack and needed two pints of blood. I was severely dehydrated. No one know why this all happened either, or they just haven't told me yet but I have so many doctor appointments now I'm sure I'll find out something. I was released from the hospital on Sunday. I'm starting to feel a lot better. My blood count was 6.5 and 7.0 but after two pints of blood its up to 12.2; still not where they want to see it but it's getting there. I now have to starting seeing a cardiologist next week to see what happened and why. They do know it's wasn't serious and it don't look like there is any damage to the heart but they can tell by blood work that there is protein in or around my heart. I don't understand why this happened now, you would think losing 120lbs and in much better health and a lot more active then I ever have been but I guess this was my wake up call. I'm 37 and WAS a smoker, but as of Nov 28 I'm a NON smoker

You look great! Did your insurance pay for this? You looked to have about the same amount of skin that I have or I might even have more and the doctor has already said that the insurance would not pay as I don't have enough skin to remove and I'm not getting rashes.
Way to go! Keep it up!
