Changed my name and an update....

I haven't posted much these days, at least nothing with any substance LOL. Just thought I would give a bit of my DS state of the union, a few days before my 10 month anniversary on Wednesday. Went for bloodwork this morning, have my next appt. with Dr. Peters on the 18th. Hoping to continue to see good results in my labs. I'm feeling pretty drawn today though - although I think that's the effects of a really crazy weekend. Scale is slooooowly inching downward again. As many of you know, I lose, I gain, I stall, then I start losing again. I can't say there is any pattern as far as times of the month go or anything, but this has been pretty consistent for the past 4-5 months. Today the scale read 150.5. For a minute, it said 149.5 but that was my first weigh and this scale always takes two to get it right. I was pretty tickled to see the "4" on there, even though I knew it wasn't real. I went shopping on Friday, since I had my son's first Communion yesterday. I am comfortably into a size 8, and have tried on several size 6's that also fit well (tops only though) if the line runs larger. I still can't believe these are the sizes I'm bringing into the dressing room. I do tend to pick up size 10 first...and inevitably have to go back for the smaller size. It's hard to get your brain in gear. My eating is great, lots of protein, some carbs, veggies, usually some kind of chocolate (I have such a rotten sweet tooth these days) but I try to keep that at a minimum. I have started to take Devrom every day, and my husband swears it is making a big difference, especially at night when the gas is free-wheeling LOL. I have my second plastic surgery consult next week - going to see a Dr. Capella in New Jersey, who claims to be a specialist in post weight loss patients. I'm also giving serious thought to going out of the country, but regardless I won't be doing anything before the end of the year. My husband is *still* out of work, and my company sale is still moving along, so we could use some prayers that these scenarios work themselves out in a positive manner, and soon. I did post a pic of my son and I from yesterday on my blog if you'd like to check it out. I will be taking 10 month pics on Wednesday as you would expect Yesterday someone referred to me as tall and slender. Who in the hell would have ever expected that in reference to me????? But it's wonderful, and I am still so very, very grateful to my DS. Sounds like things are going great--- Let us know how the surgery consult goes- You going to Pittsburgh this weekend for the OH conference? I am -- hope you will think of coming- I'd love to meet you! Andrea

Thanks Andrea. Unfortunately, I will not be in Pittsburgh. It's a haul for me (like you) and with it being 1st Communions and Mothers Day, I'm booked solid. I will be heading into NYC again soon though - so we'll do it there, ok? xoxo Sharon
