small vent
ok. so i'm a teacher right. there's a teacher that just a month ago wanted to look into the surgery she told me. well this morning she tells me she has a date in the end of june. same surgeon i had. now come on.. i had to wait 1 year 10 months but now they changed it where after the surgery you don't see the surgeon anymore you see a nurse practioner in his department- well now instead of waiting over a year for the seminiar she called in and got in that NIGHT- then had his one on one consult not- in 3 months but just 4 days from her seminar and then she only had to take that personality test- no 4 month psy preop thing anymore- i know they change a tweek things- but to me that time of waiting just made things clearer- focus on what i had to do- researched things... and now she's aasking me questions like "why can't i drink with meals" etc... isn't that what you learn- the "rules" in the seminar?? thanks for letting me vent... just frusterated.. and somewhat jealous..

Well....I guess we are pioneers for those who come after us. Folks who went before us were saying the same thing.
However~ I AM completely surprised by the lack of research that many, many wls patients do before gambling their life. It amazes me. My own sister-in-law was a year out when she heard (from ME) that you aren't suppose to eat and drink at the same time.......I was shocked! Maybe that's why she's only lost 75 lbs in 16 months. Go figure!
