in denial?

oh damn. i bought some size 14 shorts at wally world today and some size 7 panties. they are a little loose. do you find yourself wandering toward the plus sized section? or buying bigger than you are? damn . how much money i have/ am wasted/wasting. i still cannot get my head around this loss. crap. crumbs. nan

I do that all the time. I don't/can't imagine I'm a size 10 (after being 26-28 for so many years****ep ALL my receipts and I'm a return aholic (sp). If I only wear it once and it just doesn't fit right I will return it for a different size. Even this morning while getting ready for work, I was holding my pants up and wonted how I was going to get my fat butt in them but guess what, these were my size 10s and they are a little big. Who would have ever thought? It's a wonderful feeling! Tammy

I did that on Tuesday, bought a size 16W in the plus section, and it was really loose ... funny thing was my goal was to fit into it and wear it for Memorial Day weekend!!! So I took it back and bought a 14 in the misses section (they didnt have a regular size 16). I can get it on, but it does not quite close around the middle. That seems to be the norm right now, it will fit perfectly around the legs, but tight in the middle, or really loose in the legs and perfect in the middle. N e ways, the goal is to fit in size 14's by Memorial! I also bought a cute shirt to go with the pants. I looked at it and said this is still too small, but it should fit by Memorial Day. I got home and figured lets try it on .... it fit perfectly and really looks cute, so I'm keeping it!!

Oh Nan, you are doing so GREAT!! Isn't it wonderful?? I keep having more & more people calling me skinny, and I just bru**** off. Me? Skinny?? Hah, not likely! DH keeps telling me that this is the thinnest anyone has *ever* seen me at. That blows me away. So yep, I do find myself wandering around the plus sized section. Or at the very least, the highest end of the regular section. And get totally shocked when the biggest sizes of normal section are too big. I wear a size medium top? Naw!! (But sometimes I do!) I went into Lane Bryant this week and thought..."Why the hell doesn't anything fit me in here?" Old habits die hard, I guess. I still bought a shirt, wore it for a day and decided it was tooo big. It looked like a freakin tent on me and I had to cinch it up with a belt to show off any curves at all. I'm in fashion limbo! I'm not "distributed" the same way I was when I was this weight last time, and I can't find a consistant size. I float from a 14 to 10 depending on the brand label. I DID buy a medium today at White House/Black Market today! I almost screamed in the store! I figured that I would NEVER be able to shop there. Woot Woot!! Channan
