HOLY HELL....SEX!!!!
My seven year old just walked in on us having sex! He unlocked the door with a penny and there we were doing the nasty! We weren't even in bed, so there wasn't the convenience of covering up with a blanket!
We didn't yell at him, but now he's acting very embarrassed. He's in the second grade anf I think he already knows a little bit about sex, but this is my question........
When did you talk to your kids about sex, or when did your folks talk to you? As for me, my parents never said a word and it made me over curious about the strange mystery people called "SEX". This is something I hope to avoid.
Any thoughts?

BUSTED! Dear Redhead.. I feel he is too young to learn about the birds and bee's just yet.. On the othr hand if you wait any longer..You can tell him about tricks at his WEDDING!!
Just playing with ya sweetie.. Did you ask him if he saw mommy doing the wild thing opps! I meant did you ask him if he happened to see Daddy hugging Moomy just before? and just take it from there.. I don't know C I'm not very good at being a Mom.. I'm trying...

I walked in on my parents at 15-- I knew what was going on but was too mortified to look them in the face for weeks.
My parents talked to me in stages-- 3rd grade was about menstruation (do you remember those silly books?) 4th grade about men and women loving each other and having a baby; etc. etc.
If he doesn't know anything, he probably sensed your embarrassment-even if you didn't yell at him, kids are pretty intuitive. If he does know something-- he'll figure it out.
I'd reassure him or tell him the basics in as vague a way as possible- no clinical diagrams necessary.-
My two cents worth.
