Guys! HELP!!!
I have gained 3 lbs!!! And they are not coming off! I want to crawl into a hole!
I'm eating well-less than 1000 cals a day
tons of protein and the carbs are in check too. I'm still jogging everyday (2 or 3 miles) and in fact have added a mile of walking just to increase my stamina.
I'm asking for some encouragement please. You guys are great for this!

Oh Channan, don't you dare crawl into a hole. It's only temporary (the weight gain, not the hole ) it's probably water weight maybe? Or muscle mass? I don't know. I know how you feel, and I know it's so frustrating, but you're doing all the right things so I am *CERTAIN* it is not 3 pounds of fat! So cheer up, ok?

I am right there with you too. I have gained about 4 pounds that are not coming off right now either.
I think that we may be exercising to much and not increasing our calories. I have tried doing that, I will let you know what happens.
Remember, it is only temporary, we will get over this, I swear we will!!!

Sounds like all those muscles in your legs are growing to me. They must be incredable by now. If thats the case then it's 3 more pounds of sex appeal that you've added. And everybody knows sex appeal weighs more than fat.
Whatever you do don't start starving yourself to break this plateau. Just keep on eating right and exercising and it WILL resolve itself soon.
If it makes you feel any better I think I've gained a couple pounds myself this week. And I can't blame it on water retension either. In my case I haven't been to the gym all week. Been running around every day and working on the house but it still doesn't do as much as my regular cardio workout.
