A HUGE wow moment for me!!!!

I had a HUGE wow moment this morning... seems as though that is happening more and more often lately. I had my surgery on July 15, 2005. I started out at 334 lbs and I am now down to 179 lbs. A total of 155 lbs in a little over 8 months. Last week I was trying on some clothes that a friend had given me and there was a cute pair of size 10 capris that I liked. I wondered aloud to my daughter at how long it would be before I could fit into them... so she suggested that I try them on, so I did. And guess what??? They fit!!!!!!!!! I was really excited... but as for my wow moment this morning.... my husband is a little guy... he's 5'9 and weighs 133 lbs. This morning I decided to try on a pair of his pants... and they FIT!!!! I couldn't believe it. I never imagined myself being able to fit into his clothes. I still find myself holding up clothing that I know I can now fit into, and looking at it and thinking that there is NO way my butt is gonna fit into them. It's a mind thing, that's for sure.... Congrats, Chelle. I know what you mean - my husband and I have been together for over 24 years and I finally weigh less than him - ony by a pound or two but I've never even been within 10 pounds of him before. Now you just need to post some before & after pictures - show your stuff! Maria 272/158/155

Yeah...what Maria said. Let's see some pix girl!! It really is an awesome moment when we look at something and say NO WAY...and then it fits with room to spare. Congrats and look forward to hearing many more moments like this. Nickie

Pretty neat. 155 pounds. Wow. I see you have a halo after your signature. Is it because you've been so good and followed your doctor's orders? Exercise. Vitamins. Protein first. No carbs? Or .... Inquiring minds want to know. -Pam p.s. You are doing great!
