Back On Track
This is my first time to this site. Thank you Pam S-G for inviting me. I have not logged onto OB help in months! I've lost 79 pounds and am just stalling there. But I know I have not done my part to ensure additional weight loss. I had rotator cuff surgery in Dec and have been home for the past three months recuperating, working from home...sitting on my rear and no exercise, munching on stuff that I shouldn't.
Your invitiation to join the site is the motivation I think I need to get back on track. I look forward to any support from others out there!
Thanks,
Karen
Hell Karen and WELCOME! I can understand that anytime a physcial injury or pain of some kind is involved it is very hard to motivate ourselves to 'do the right thing'.. And I also realize that hearing that same old tired 'work your tool'.. dosen't always help. But thats the way it really is. We have to work it. there is no other way at this point. You have lost about 80 pounds so far and that is wonderful! Now you have to make a conscious desision to keep going. I don't mean cutting back to basics.. and drinking protein 3 times a day and no food; I don't personally belive in that. But, getting up and getting moving everyday. walk, bike, bend, do what you can. and just don't snack on any thing that you know in your heart is crap. We all know what our trigger foods are and we all know at this stage what crap is. Look for fresh healthy choices and keep it small.. Keep Posting Karen. I will be here and so will the other great people of this board to help you through every step of the way..
peace
