Tummy and back pain, yo Nan!

Ok, I went to my PCP since I never heard back from my surgeons office. He gave me Nexium for my ulcer pain. It seems to be helping a lot. I also got back my dreaded back pain...that made me completely unable to live life for 3 weeks back in late November. But I got a steroid injection, and it really helped. It still hurts, but not like it did. Oh, thank goodness for that! Nan- how is the Nexium working for you? (((hugs July babies- I love you! ) Michele

Oh gosh, Nexiumm is my savior! I have no pain after taking it for 3 days, but I sure do have an... ahem... flatulence problem. I went and ordered some of those Innermints from amazon today - Man, I hope they help otherwise my family is gonna abdicate this castle... I'm so glad it worked for you too!! Love, Nan

Oh good, I'm so glad it's working for you too! I haven't had the gas problem....yet.... but I found this awesome "spray" at Smart and Final (a grocery warehouse type store) I'm telling you, it gets rid of any offensive smells immediately. I smoke in my garage, and it normally smells like an old barroom in there- but not after using this stuff. It's all natural, orange. It's called " Pure Citrus orange air freshener" and it's made by Pure Citrus, Inc. in GA. Phone number is 800-554-3014 if you're not able to find it. It works sooooooo well! Hope we're both on the mend now! Yippee!!!

Michele- So glad to hear you saw a doctor about the Nexium. Did he/she say what she thought it was? Ulcer? GERD? other? FYI Astra Zeneca makes Nexium-- You can call and see if you can get assistance given you have no insurance now. Crossing my fingers that the back pain goes away, Hugs, Andrea

Glad the Nexium is helping! Sorry about the back pain. I know all about it. Strange that it is coming in spurts like this for you too. Hmmmmm, makes me wonder. Hopefully it will be over sooner this time! HUGS Kimberly

Michelle, I take the Nexium.. And it has helped so much.. n fact I don't know if it's in my head or not (well, I guess it's not) but I ran out the other day and I have started to feel that burning pain again.. gotta refill the nexium.. When I started taking it the pain went completely away.. It should work for you honey.. I hope your back feels better really soon like today!! peace Mo

Oh, I LOVE the Nexium! It really, really works. I thought there was no hope. I never had excess acid before surgery- very strange! Anyway, I thank my lucky stars for Nexium! It rocks! My back is doing better too, thankfully. Thank you Mo! Michele
