I was wondering the same thing about Nana Linda ... I haven't seen her online in quite some time. Last time I hear her parents were sick. I hope they are okay and she is doing okay!! Here's a hug to you Nana Lind if you are reading this!! M.

Marlize, I have been on OH, but I guess I haven't been on the July board for a while. My mom is better, but she still has a lot of limitations because of her back. My dad is still in the nursing home. I keep hoping he will get to come home soon, but it's not too promising right now. He will be 86 in early April, and I totally hate the thought of him spending his birthday in a nursing home. Early in February I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that it was caught VERY early and was a less aggressive form of cancer. I had a lumpectomy on 2/13 and went back to work 2 weeks later. They got all of the cancer, and my lymph nodes were clear. This is all fabulous news. I started taking Tamoxifen on 2/27, and I began radiation this week. I have to go M-F for six weeks. As I told the therapist today, after tomorrow I will be 1/6 of the way finished. I don't have to do chemo, and I am extremely grateful. I have a new mission in life. I am aggravating any woman who looks like she might be 40 to make sure she has had a mammogram within the last 12 months. Mine was found on an annual mamm, and I am so grateful. I think it is awful that 1 in 5 women in the U.S. will get breast cancer. We have to be proactive with all aspects of our health and have annual exams and mamms. Okay, now I am carefully climbing down from my soapbox, so I don't hurt myself. You are dong so well. You look fabulous. I am down 105 lbs. and very pleased and grateful about that. I am still exercise impaired, so I am not doing as well as I could be. I can now shop in the Misses department in stores if they carry size 18. Not all do, but I plan to have a field day with catalogs real soon. I'm sorry this is so long. I promise not to be MIA again. It's too hard to catch up. Linda

It is SO good to see you! I'm so sorry you are having to deal with the BC. But sounds like all is good with that and I'm SO thankful! I'm glad to know your mother is better and will pray your dad gets to come home real soon! HUGS Kimberly
