Anybody else notice this?
Hi I am 8 months out today and down about 145lbs I feel great and look better but I am noticing that I can eat more or can I? I am wondering if I just know the right foods to choose now and chew them right so I feel like I am eating more? I eat about 1 cup of food at a time I guess hmmm anybody else worry about this ? I guess now that I am getting smaller I am wrried that I will get stuck here and stay fat just less fat do you know what I mean? Let me know maybe I am just crazy! LOL

Hey there girl! A cup of food seems about right at this stage although I have only been able to get about 1/2 cup down in the last month or so. Hmmmmmmmmmm.........strange, huh?
You're weightloss is impressive. Sounds like one of the highest on this board. Congrats! Just do what ever the hell you are doing because obviously it's working!

I can eat alot more of certain foods. I must be crazy along with you because my worries are the same. I have been stuck at the same weight since mid Feb. and have just now started losing again I hope.
I may be stuck at this weight. Perhaps my body is saying no more. I will be happy here if that is what is meant to be.

I have a friend who is 2 years out and she said things do change.
Quantities and portions too. I notice though I am still having to FORCE myself to sit down and eat, but I eat slower now, and I can eat a bit more than 4 months ago.
I eat a late breakfast (because I wor****il midnight) so I eat my first meal around 1pm. I eat a bowl of organic oatmeal combined with 1/4 cup of flax seed granola, two small scoops (about 1/4 cup) of raisins, and a small handful of slivered almonds, splenda and a pat of low fat margarine. I eat about 1/2 piece of dry toast and maybe 2 cups of coffee within an hour or so. And yes, I can drink my coffee while I eat. Not something I could do before, but I have to sip, not gulp. That is my breakfast. I dont eat fruits except for strawberries right now. I just don't like fruit right now.
Lunch or for me, an early dinner might be one pork cutlet, dipped in egg wash and corn flake crumbs and baked for 20 minutes, 1/2 cup canned vegetable (preferably peas) and mashed potatoes. (about 1/3 cup). And then when I get home from work, I am always in the mood for food- sometimes. I normally will eat 1.5 pieces of baked fish. Nothing else. Just the fish.
I do 3 protein bars (no shakes for me) and my 4 multi-vitamins and two tablets of calcium since surgery, I have become horribly lactose intolerant.
I have lost 75 lbs but my total weight at start was 239, and I wanted to be at 130-135 lbs. I am not far from goal.
