Sunday Weekly weigh in
I guess I will start again. Hope everyone had a great week. Found out my husband will be home for a couple weeks the middle of next month so I am extremely happy. Yesterday was Lortab induced day because of all the pain in my knee from an arthritis flare up. Hoping I can stave it off today. OK...on to the stats:
Start:260
Today:161
Total Lost: 99...get to a freakin' 100 already...pounds
left to goal: 6
Who's next?
Nickie
Start:350
Today:195.8
Total Lost: 154.2
My surgeon thought I would get to 200, but the metabalism researcher I have consulted thougth I would get to 180, WOW he might be right.
Of course I'm feeling guilty lately because of my crazy schedule I haven't been working out AT ALL, thus I'm worried that I am losing muscle and not fat. Hmmm, I've got to get back with it.
Ok all who's next......
He is a professor/researcher at the University of St. Thomas here in Minneapolis. For about $20 you meet with him and he hooks you up to a machine that measures the amount of calories your body burns at rest and he does an analysis with you on the results. Then he takes you down to the pool and does a water weight test to determine true body mass and ideal body weight. It's pretty interesting, I meet up with him about every 3 months. I started a couple of weeks before my surgery.
Okay,
~Remember last week when I "came clean" that I wasn't eating? Well this week I did really well. I increased my calories to 800 and increased my protein as well.
I knew to be healthy I needed to do this. Well what happened........I lost two pounds, then gained 6 pounds! 6 pounds on 800 cals a day! I was freaking out!! I managed to lose 2.5 of them, but holy crap! I'm trying to be logical about it and not emotional.
So the bottom line is that I'm down 2 lbs.
T-minus 107 and counting!

Hi Channan (Hah, I remembered the A! )
Oh hun, I'm so sorry about the weight! It's so freaking hard to figure out, huh? I want to give you so much support and so much advice (like you always give to the rest of us) but I just don't know what to say! You are right, you need to be healthy. That's the important part. Take care of yourself & your body and you'll start losing again.
Take care hun! I wish I had more to offer you.
