Stomach Pains

Are stomach pains a sign of dumping??? For dinner tonight I had made spaghetti with meatballs. I had bought the sauce from this italian restaurant I like and its kind of a sweet tasting marinara sauce. I rarely have spaghetti as the main course, usually only as a side dish. Anyways, right after dinner, I had 2 pieces of chocolate covered pineapple (my favorite!). I dont know what the hell happened, if it was just ultimately too much sugar or what, but i had stomach pains soooooo soooooo bad afterwards. I mean serious stomach cramps. It was horrible! This happened once or twice before, but i dont think they were quite as bad. Usually with sugar, if i eat a little too much it makes me feel yucky. Do you think that from picking at my chocolate covered fruit all day (maybe like 3 pieces during the day before the two at dinner) plus the dinner and the two pieces of choc. fruit after dinner did that???? I know, I know, i shouldnt eat that damn choc. covered fruit but god...its so damn good! I havent had it since surgery so I figured I'd splurge. I guess I splurged too much???? Ultimately, I wanted to know what you guys thought of these stomach pains? Is it Dumping?

The 2 times I "dumped" I broke out in a sweat, got light headed and felt like my bowles were going to explode. Need less to say I try and avoid those feelings no matter what...

It probably is dumping-- It seems to hit people in different ways-- I get major stomach cramps and the the need to visit the bathroom. Others get the hot flashes and an accelerated heart beat.

I guess this is my way of dumping. Ugh! I hope I never do that again!

I guess it could be dumping, but when I dump I don't get pains like that. It's really hard when you're not sure what causes it- because then you feel afraid to eat anything! UGH! Hope you figure it out! Michele

Hi Tiffany-Each time I have tried to eat spaghetti I have gotten a stomach ache. I don't know why, but I have. Maybe it is dumping...The only other time I have had a problem with dumping I broke out in a sweat and was sick to my stomach. In any event, spaghetti is not for me right now. Can't take the pain....
