Just finished my 10k race!!

I ran my 10k race in Detroit this morning. I'm currently in training for a marathon, so I decided to run this race this morning to see how I'm doing. LET ME TELL YOU I DID GREAT! 6.4 miles (because they messed our course up in the beginning), I finished in 1:02:44, good enough for THIRD PLACE in my age group! My name was called in the awards ceremony and I got a bronze medal in front of everyone! WAHOOOOO! I'm so happy. I've come so far and I'm so proud of myself! That is soooo amazing Ash- If someone had told you that you would get a third place medal for RUNNING a 10K a year ago what would you have said??? I am so proud of you! You are my idol, Ms. Chariots of Fire. Congrats! Andrea

I woke up this morning and looked at your pictures at the race and it made me fill up with pride for you and all of us and what can be accomplished in our lives..
