starting to get down in the dumps AGAIN
i don't know if it's because i haven't lost any weight so far this week- in fact i'm back up to 167 DARN IT.. or because i have nothing to wear- it's size 14 to tight- and 18's are too loose- i don't have any 16's.. was sort of hoping to be a 10/12's by now..
or that the guy i student taught with died sunday- and he wasn't big or old my any means just had a massive heart attack.. and now i'm re- evaluating LIfe and my music teaching career. what do i want?
go elementary- quit- what else would i do...
dh and i are ok- his weight may be coming an issue with him getting depressed so it's up and down emotionally with home life..
work.. and in general.. i want this weight off.. NOW..
I had a decaf skim lattee from caribou coffee this morning- and i got SICK at school/work - lots of shakes and felt so nervousie.. and weak. it was weird- never happened before.. and i was lightheaded (good thing i was teaching piano all morning- sitting down..) i skipped breakfast and lunch as i was still queezy stomach- but ate supper (chicken and mashed potatoes- and ate too much and feel queezy again right now).. ugh..
I NEED TO GET SOME SLEEP TOO- and of course my back and hip started up again in pain yesterday- so still no exercise (just stretching) for another week- dr thinks it might be reinjured AGAIN.. so ticked- i want this weight off- but yet can't use the tool - and i'm almost 8 months now.. darn it...
i feel so sick-anything- crystal light, coffee, food- whatever- i got really shaky- and lightheaded... (WHAT"S UP WITH THAT???) has this happened to anyone else?

Jennifer~
The shakes might indicate a deficiency in some important nutrients. Are you tracking your nutrients? Do you know what is in the vitamins that you are taking? Are you sure that they meet your doctor's requirements? You might need to have some blood work taken just to make sure you are getting enough.
I was jogging last week and I almost passed out about a mile and a half into it. I totally blanked out, but caught myself on a nearby tree. I have an appointment to see the doc, but I have been downing the vitamins like crazy lately because I'm pretty sure that's what the problem was. Also, I know that I haven't been eating enough food lately. I have really made an effort to get in enough calories, especially since I have been pushing the exercise lately.
I just passed the seven month mark and have only lost 97 lbs. Now to "normal" people, that would seem almost herculean, but for me, it seems like I am creeping along with the weight loss! It DOES feel like it's taking forever! You have done so well sweetheart!!! Sometimes all of these issues that you are experiencing just hit us all at once and we are at a loss for what to do and how to handle it. I'm sure that you will find the strength and clarity of thought to work these issues out.
Chin up girl!!
We all love you here!!
Channan
I hear ya Channon- we had surgery the same day and I'm at a 93 pound loss.... and I weigh myself this morning and I'm UP 2 freakin' pounds! What the hell??? Going slow this days.... hopefully we can look back on this in 6 months and laugh at our impatience....
Jennifer- it sounds like dumping to me. I dump really severely with too much sugar, and I also get queasy with bread, potatoes, too much fat, etc. You just never know. Someone called it "refrigerator roulette" and I thought that was perfect. Hope you figure it out though!
