Vegas is disgustingly hot that time of year, but the plus is you can walk up and down the strip without going outside! And it would be cheaper! I think a 2-3 days would work. How about the weekend of July 8? Don't worry Ashley, we'll smuggle you in. I currently have no significant others, so I am up for a roomie! Andrea

Here are a couple of thoughts on housing in Las Vegas. I found these on a website that myself and friends have used for vacations in the past. (I rented a house in Hawaii a couple of years ago on this site...cost me less than $1000 for a week on the beach). Anyway this may be a way to save money, have fun and customize things a little for us. Check them out and see what you think. Cost per person would depend on how many of us we have attending. There are also other size places available I just grabbed these because they were the largest. If we don't need anything this big I can find smaller. Both of these have prvt pools, prvt hot tubs. I will help with all of this, I am used to organizing trips for groups since I organize trips for my students every year. In addition before becoming a teacher I spent over 10 years in Hotel/Restaurant Mgmt. I also still have a couple of connections in the business. (Unfortuneately not directly in Vegas but with some large chains) Just a thought. http://www.vrbo.com/80723 http://www.vrbo.com/79221

Peter's quote, "Both of these have prvt pools, prvt hot tubs." P-Is that short for pervert or private?!?! Kidding! A house would require one of us to collect funds from everyone and that worries me a bit. I'm not comfortable accepting or asking anyone else to accept that responsibility. You might get left holding the bag if someone backs out last minute. Also-we would have to rent cars to get to the strip. If we stayed on the strip, everything is accessible by tram or within walking distance. Just a thought. What do you think?

I've got no problem accepting this responsibility. It's just an idea.

Peter-Babe! Does it come with a maid that will make my bed, put a mint on my pillow and pick my dirty towels up off of the floor? Because I am WAY too much of a princess to do those things myself!! Can you tell I'm high maintenance? I'm totally NOT kidding-which is the sad part!! -I can laugh at myself though!! C Leigh
