What's up with that!!!

JEALOUSY that's just about it... my sister only has said anything to me once- about 3 months out- then at xmas- when i got to try on her shirt she was wearing- and I LOOKED better- i "filled it out" with my new 38 DDD's.. (from 48G's) and she's been tiny- B's if she's lucky... and then she asked how much i weighed- and at that time- i only new my home scale had me at 172.. and she weighed 165.... (what my scale now reads me)... and she was always the skinny beauty queen- but in the last year when i took off- she gained it for the first time in her life... uhm... so all i can say for you is- keep you chin up- and know what you have done- !!! and keep coming to us!! we'll cheer you on!! i've had friends who had this surgery before i did and i didn't compliment them for a number of reasons.... one is that i didn't want to embarrass them as i know they couldn't lose weight succesfully until they had medical intervention and i didn't yet understand what they had gone through. another is that i don't want to say "you look great" because it implies they didn't look great before losing weight, and they did actually, but they are healthier now. and yet another is i didn't want to seem shallow and focussed on looks. i did however express happiness to them upon hearing about health issues being resolved. i wouldn't take it personally. there could be all sorts of reasons, the important thing is you feel better.

Hi C. Wow, I know exactly how you feel. Where my son goes to school there is a group of ladies that stand there. I have shared the story with about 3 of them...BUT now I have lost 117lbs...IT's like I haven't lost a pound. they are so snotty...I can't believe they will not even bring it up or say anything. I know I look so different. NOW I figure that it is their problem, NOT MINE!!! YOU should feel the same way....it's their problem. They are jealous that you had the courage to do something important for yourself!@!!! Be PROUD!!! YOU dont' need any compliements from other people! Remember...........we did this for us...... I am proud of you .......and so is everyone on this website!!! Congrats!!! Go out and conquer the world......stand in your glory. You deserve it! Hugs, El
