Hello July family, I'm back! Vegas was awesome, but heavens....There was skin everywhere!! It's only been 2 years since I have been there, but the lack of clothing and common decency this time was alarming. Our convention center was over a million square feet and I think that I walked them all! It was amazing-I NEVER got tired! I was in heels AND carrying around heavy tote-bags the whole time (4 days) and I had absolutely no problems. That never happened pre-op. I used to want to throw in the towel after 1 long day. One alarming difference this time--Attention from men!! Before surgery, noone would look my way, except in disapproval, but this time was very different. I didn't hang the "I'm available" sign, but that didn't seem to make a difference--the men were very assertive. It was a bit alarming actually. I felt very uncomfortable! I made the mistake of telling my husband and now he's all weirded-out and possesive. He'll get over it. Anyway, I missed you all. I hope you all had a great week and happy weekend. C Leigh

Hey there girl.. Welcome back. I thought I would just pop in and say hello to you. I haven't been to Vegas for years but I would love to go again..Maybe after reaching goal i'll chance it once more.. All those half naked tourists there don't have a thing on the beach scene here in South Florida! Now thats something to see! (or Not!) Peace Mo

Jennifer, Those of us who went said that we would not bring our kids there! Even if you wanted to bring them to a family friendly show, you have to haul them through the casinos that have very provocative advertisements and posters every where. We stayed at the Paris. It was very beautiful and clean and one of the less risque hotels. There are mega-trons up and down the strip playing clips of nudie shows (blurred out), drunk and loud people everywhere, and the smoke is enough to kill you. Don't get me wrong...I had a great time, but I am an adult and can block that stuff out. "Skin" shows are becoming more popular and family shows are becoming extinct. I'm sure in a couple of years, it will be too much for even me. I saw two children during my entire time there. I noticed them because the stuck out like a sore thumb. Don't want to alarm you, I'm just letting you know. A three year old probably wouldn't pick up on that stuff though. We were able to find many fun things to do that didn't revolve around sex, gambling, or drinking. C Leigh
