Depressed!

Well it looks like alot of us are feeling the deppression blues I never know if mine is due to the surgery or from my past I have been on prozac for ever and ever and I have just been a evil women to be around latley, my house is a mess I can barley cook for the family my 17 year old does the shopping in fact I some times just want to pull my hair out and run and run and get away from myself, but thats a little hard to do, so guess this is something we just have to try and get threw, give your meds a chance to work it does take a while, good luck and keep posting you are not alone! Hi Michele, so sorry to hear you are depressed. It can really take a tole on a person. My surgeon started me on Lexapro while still in the hospital and I have not had one second of depression yet. And I have constant turmoil in my life, it is a miracle I am not a drunk or drug addict. By all means get yourself on something ASAP. It really makes a difference. Sue

Hey Michele, Sorry to hear about the depression. I can relate. My doctor put me on Wellbutrin XL because it does not seem to have the side effect of weight gain attached to it. I take it every morning and it seems to help with my mood swings. Best of Luck! Just me...Jess
