What percentage have you lost?

Saw this on another board and thought I'd share. I've lost 67 percent of my excess weight. Not too bad I guess. You can figure percent: First take your starting weight and subtract your current weight. Then take your starting weight and subtract your goal weight. Take the first number and divide by the second number. Multiply that result by 100.

Well, I have 2 percentages....one is for my personal goal to reach 170 and now that I'm close to 170 I'm thinking about lowering it to 155. % lost if goal is 170 - 99.02% (I'm at 171) % lost if goal is 155 - 86.32% I never thought that I'd even get close to 170 or at least I thought I would struggle a lot more than I have....so now I'm thinking that 155 would be good..... Just in case you're wondering I'm 5'7 1/2" and currently wearing between a 10 & 12 in pants....size M or L in most shirts.....yesterday at work, I had at least 5 different people during 5 different conversations tell me that I'd be too thin if I lost any more - yeah right, they are just comparing me to how HUGE I used to be.....I have never once regretted this surgery (I was lucky and never even went through the "What Have I Done To Myself" stage)....I would do this over in a New York minute! Have a great weekend, Maria p.s. we're freezing our butts off up here - yesterday was -42F.....

I remember at my 3 month checkup my Dr. telling me that they consider the surgery successful if you lose 50% of your excess weight by your one year mark.

I started at 336 lbs and now weight 208 lbs. My first goal is to hit 190 lbs. With that goal, I have lost 88% of my excess weight. My overall goal is to hit 174 (no longer overweight). At this time I have lost 79% of my excess weight for that goal. I have gone down from a 3XL shirt to a Large (just bought a new one yesterday) and from a 2XL jogging pants to L (but are a little large so am going to try on a Medium today).
