6 month dr visit
wasn't bad at all- i saw his nurse practioner that had the surgery 2 weeks before me... slow and steady wins the race and keeps it off!!
highest 275
sugery date 263
doctor's scale today 185
home scale today 169- (guess i'll throw it away and stop weighing myself everyday!!)
i have lost a lot of inches- waist from 57 1/2 to 39 1/2- not bad..
so i should still be proud of myself... i should be, but i'm disappointed in the number on the scale..
i haven't been able to walk as much- because of the back/kidney stones..
I did get my size 14 jeans buttoned today- was going to wear them to work- but decided against it- just a little too snug yet- give them 1 or 2 weeks...
the NP said i'm doing great... just try to get more exercise in- and start taking calcium, but when i got home of course i had my labs (clinic mailed them to me- STUPID clinic) and my b-12 was 2000 (extremly high it said) and my calcium was 10.4 (high is 10.0) and the dr noted that i should "discuss" both with surgeon. I don't take calcium suppliments- and i don't think i'll start them.. yikes.. guess i'll need to call surgeon and see..
long enough- going to go lay on some ice packs for the rotated disks grr

All that worry for nothing. You are way too hard on yourself. Go get a new scale! Mine was 12 lbs off so I purchased a new one that is more accurate. It was depressing at first b/c it was like I had gained 12 lbs, but I got over it. Sounds like you are doing very well! What are they doing for your kidney stones and rotated disks?
-Keep up that good work!
