1200 calories!!!

OMG I ate 1200 calories today! I try to keep it below a 1000, but this last week I have been eating everything in sight. I suppose the good thing is Ive gotten all my protein w/o a shakes & Ive met all my nutrional requirements w/o suppliments ( atleast according to fitday- I still take the whole vitamin regime !) ... this will be great for maintance, but not while Im trying to loose - Ive lost a whopping 4 lbs in 3 weeks ! The scale hasnt moved in 2 1/2weeks. Anyone have any advise about foods that " stick to the ol ribs " or any " Im there w/ ya" . THanks for listening, Aly

I think I beat you today. I swear I feel like I've eaten a side of beef! These last couple of days I have been able to eat TONS of food. I go through spurts like this sometimes, but this feels different. And therefore I shall ask the question that I HATE to see on the boards... "Could I have stretched my pouch?" I'm really a little worried about the amount I've been able to eat. This stress at home is killing me. I'm going to wake up tomorrow finding a different way to deal with the crap. (people living with us) Ok - I'll quit whining. Congrats on the WL!!! I love to lose several at a time. It feels SO good! HUGS Kimberly

It's funny....1200 calories is what strict dieters try to stick to, yet it seems high for us. Have you tried oatmeal? It's a pretty good source of protein (especially if you add powder to it). It stays with me for hours. C Leigh

OMG, I just saw the *same thing* on my fitday about an hour ago!!! I about fell freaking over! I didn't *think* I was eating that much, but yikes! It sure adds up fast. Wish I had some advice for you Aly. I'm there with ya! Good luck; to us all! Lisa

Ugh, I know what your talking about and my latest thing is having a "snack" at 8-9pm at night and that adds to my extra 200 calories. I dont eat much for dinner cuz I'm not really hungry, but around that time I get hungry and snack on something!! I didnt eat more than 1000 calories today, but yesterday I hit 1235 calories ... and then again on other days I barely get in 800 calories. I have been exercising, so I hope that will help me loose weight ... but I dont know why some days I eat all day, and others I stay within my calories and carbs!? I can only hope and pray that we keep on loosing until we reach goal!

Im there w ya- You know- I have been freaking out because I do hit 1200 calories occasionally, and I go over 1000 calories about 2X a week. YIKES I read somewhere that we should be eating 700-800 calories a day until 9 months!!!! Does anyone know what our target should be. It seems like a lot of us are hitting the 1000 occasionally, so maybe it OK?? Advice!!!!!

Thanks for the replies, I dont feel like an ogre anymore :P. I do exercise a lot, but still !!! Im going to look back at some of my lower calorie days on fitday ( 800 cal ) and see what I ate and try to repeat it. Hugs to you all Aly
