Update on the doggie
Thanks for your letters of support. "Sir Nicholas" is recovering from his own Bariatric Surgery. Found halfway down his small intestine was: Plastic, Grass ( In NYC?), Hair (That would most likely be my hair clumps from the bathroom garbage pail) and yarn ( I don't think I own thread-- so I don't know where that one came from).
Nick is doing well. I can visit him today between 7pm and 9pm, and he will most likely come home tomorrow. They say he is doing well but they are keeping him pretty drugged up with pain killers. I told the surgeon, I could relate to his pain, because I've had my intestines rearranged too, and he .
Of course, now that I know he is going to be OK, I want to him-- Where the hell did he get that stuff and why does he think it tastes so good!???
I'm really glad your little guy is doing better ... WOW, he sure did have an asortment of "snacks" in his stomach!!
Dogs are weird, our dalmation that past away last year got into the garbarge one time and she ate the nastiest stuff ... her stomach was so upset, we had to use a gasmask to clean up after her ... no lie it was that foul smelling and looking!! I was just happy that she didnt eat anything that would have really hurt her of even killed her!!
Poor little guy. I'm glad that he is going to be okay.
Last week our boxer (Sophie) ate a whole chicken carcus. Not to get gross, but she had bloody poop for two days! We were about to take her in, but my friend who is a breeder told us that she would be fine. Well she is, but my carpet isn't!! Yuk!! Already scheduled the cleaners to come in.

What a relief! I had a cow one time when my dog had some strands of material coming from her pooper. It was stuck - it was gross. I'm so glad it didn't get stuck in there though. But I do know that material such as that doesn't digest in the least little bit! LOL
I know you'll be glad to have him back!
