What is your favorite protein drink recipe? I'm looking for some new tasty recipies. I thought I would share mine with you. It sort of tastes like an Orange Julius and I can't even taste the yucky "protein" flavor.
Here's mine:
-1 scoop Nectar Pacific Cooler (pro=23, cal-90,carb=0)
OR-a vanilla powder would be a decent sub.
-1/2 small orange (pulp and all) (pro=1,cal=34,carb=8)
-4 oz of lite oj (I use Tropicana) (pro=0,cal=25,carb=7)
-splash of vanilla extract
-2 tbl spoons of whipped cream from a can-don't freak out, it's only 15 cals and 1 carb
-lots of ice
protein=24
cals=164
carbs=16
fat=1 gram
You could tweek this to meet your own protein, cal,carb requirements.
Also, you can add frozen berries instead of the orange.That is very yummy too. Here's great trick I have learned--serve this out of one of those freezable mugs with the liquid inside. It almost turns these shakes into an ice cream consistancy. Yum!!

Plain and simple for me:
8 oz Hood Carb Countdown Choc Milk
1 Scoop Unflavored Protein Isolate from allthewhey dot com
8 oz cup of Ice
Use my $10 mini blender from Wallie World and wal-lah insta Frostie

carbs=5
fat=5
I drink 2 a day everyday without fail Still love the flavor after 6 months!
I stopped drinking mine becuase I got tired of it but it consisted of Orange Juice, Alpine Vanilla Protein Powder, frozen strawberries and ice blended in my Magic Bullet.
I have recently started just drinking a scoop of my protein powder (27g)in 6 oz of water and it's much faster and convenient. Not too bad either, kinda tastes like powdered milk.

I tried that combo today for the first time, it was not bad. My favorite is the Fuzzy Navel nectar and Orange Crystal light. I actually crave those!!! In fact, I had a small sample size of the tea and drank that and then I had to go and make the fuzzy navel one because my taste buds thought that something was off because it was the wrong flavors!!! I got an extra 13 grams of protein though!!!

Ok here goes...the recipe for Nickie's DaBomb Protein Shake:
8 oz fat free milk (8g protein) or Carb Countdown
1/2 Banana
2 TBSP. Natural Peanut Butter (8g protein)
Squirt of sugar free chocolate syrup
1 Scoop Tasteless or Vanilla Protein (mine has 20g protein per scoop)
Grand total of 36g protein in one drink!
Tastes like you ordered a milikshake from an ice cream shop...no lie!!

Mine is a mint chocolate concoction.
1 scoop chocolate Unjury (this stuff is so much better than Beneprotien)
1/2 frozen banana
4 oz regular soy milk (I cant remember the name of it but it has a large "8" on the bottle and it tastes just like regular milk, I buy it at Walmart)
a few drops of peppermint extract

I have this one twice a week sometimes I use cinnemon extract instead.
For me a protein drink is an easy breakfast that I can actually have while I drive to work. I bought several individual blender cups that fit right on my regular blender that u can drink right from. Got them at Walmart.
