Why is Star Jones such a hot topic on the main messageboard? YUCK!

Everyone on the main message board is talking about the Star Jones segment on 20/20 last night. Star Jones makes me ill. She's such a phoney. Just her whole personality makes me want to hurl. Ugh. And personally, i could give two sh*ts whether she had WLS or how she lost her weight. Who gives a crap! People should pay more attention to the people who make a difference in this world. Not cheesy stars who do nothing but talk about wanting to be a stupid princess and float down the Nile River like Cleopatra. What about all the good samaritans out in this world? People who help the poor, help animals? I swear, sometimes people really get me annoyed Sorry If I offended anyone here, but once I got started I couldnt stop!

I totally agree with you. Yes she looks great, but she has a bad personality and to me it is not the looks that matter the most but what you do to make the world a better place. I agree that all the talk should stop about her because really it is noones business what she has done in the first place. No offense taken here. Nickie

I went to the main board this morning, which I rarely do. I saw the topic about Star Jones, and posted to it- then got blasted and will probably get kicked off of OH. But seriously, I don't give 2 sh!!ts about her either. What makes me mad about what I saw her personally say on camera- "It's all about portion control". LIKE DUH, thank you for that wisdom, we just had no idea!! And she won't admit that she had surgery, just "medical intervention"- therefore it seems like she is "above" all the other obese people who can't seem to control their portions. I don't think I'll be posting about her again anytime soon though.

I hear that her new book is about how she lost the weight. I'm afraid that if indeed she had wls she will be leading millions of potential readers down the wrong path. That is a huge detail not to disclose if in fact she has had wls. Besides, anyone who has lost weight without wls does not wnat anyone to think that they have and is quick to say so! Right? I'm on board with you girls. "Portion control" my @ss...... More like some stomach stapling and a lot of follow up plastic surgery..... her face and neck/chin area didn't get so tight without some extra medical intervention after WLS....not to mention some of her other parts that would have been sagging. If she wasn't going to just plain tell the truth for the interview, she shouldn't have done an interview at all!!!!!! That phoney couldn't pay me to read her cr@ppy book! ~Sue
