Hmmmm....well maybe that is what it is then. I have no idea! I agree it does sound exactly what she described (one type of dumping anyway) but the 3 hours threw me off.

Michelle I was a coffe aholic before surgery... Stayed off it for only a week... THis is how I get liquids. I only drink sf iced tea, hot tea and coffee. I cannot go without it. I do not think I am having a problem from it. It is when I do not drink it! The docs have not asked me to stop it... I LOVE MY COFFEE... Pattiann 274/192

Michele, I have beeb drinking coffee since the 2nd month out of surgery but to be honest I don't know if it has anything to do with my weight loss. But then again I only drink it in the morning and only 1 or 2 cups. Cheri

I also drink coffee, and I agree, it fills you up and it does seem that I lose more with more coffee.. What do you put in your coffee? I would love to know.. I add half & half and splenda.... Half & Half just sits better with me than regular or even nofat milk.. peace mo

I got addicted to the French Vanilla coffee creamer about 10 years ago. Since they have recently come out with a sugar free version, that's what I use.

Mo, I have been drinking my coffee black since I was 4 yrs old (mom gave it to me early, I guess!). Only lately have I been drinking NF lattes - actually within the past month or two. But, I do love to put a small squirt of DaVinci SF syrup in my coffee at night (Irish Cream, Chocolate, B52, Vanilla, Hazelnut - whatever is on hand). I get the flavor without the fat and calories of a creamer. Darla

Michele ~ Not sure if the coffee actually helps with weight loss, but I've been drinking it from fairly early out. I used to get mochas or white chocolate mochas; but now they sit too heavy in my tummy so I stick with a latte or breve. Up here in AK, we've got coffee drive-thru's all over the place so I get them fairly often! I also drink regular coffee with creamer and splenda. Maria 272/174.5/170

I knew I was doing something right! I started drinking a Startbucks (Carmel Machino)sp? every morning and that is my breakfast. I figure there are about 250 cal in the coffee and that holds me over until lunch. I know not healthy, but what ever works right???????

Michele- I have been drinking coffee since two months after surgery. I drink decaf and try to put at least 1/4 C milk in it to soften it and also to get some protein. I will also get lattes (decaf skim of course!). I don't think it has effected my weight either weigh . But I love my 'placebo' coffee-- so I ain't givin' it up. I will sometimes have a latte if I am want sugar-- it still feels like a treat.
