Do I cry or dance?
Ok,
I haven't been on the board for a few weeks. I have been experiencing the worst 'vacation' I have ever had. I flew out to SF to visit my sister and friends for ten days.
Day 1 - Discover sister has no scale- Withdrawal sets in
Day 2-5 Get the worst case of indigestion I have had-- gas/bloats ugh
Day 2-6 Fall on ankle have to go to emergency room. Learned I have pulled some tendons. No exercise for a few weeks. On crutches for three days.
Day 10 Wake up morning I am supposed to leave with chills and sweats, congestion and fever. Change flight.
Day 11-14 Wake up feeling worse. Cancel flight. Lie in bed wishing I was home. Speak to doctor over the phone who tells me not to fly until I see an ENT so I don't perforate an eardrum.
Day 15 See ENT. (Incidently, I am the only patient over 8 in the office. Good thing, because the doc looks like he is 12). Told I could go home if I seriously medicate self before flying. While in office, spy scale. Step on scale.....
Fully clothed-- am officially overweight! No longer obese!
Not a great way to start the new year, (sick as a dog) but at least I hit my next goal--
Sorry I have been out of it for the past 15 days. I'll be back in the swing of things once I get home tomorrow.

Congrats and Sorry all at once..........I have also been sick this week...all stuffed up and gunk coming out of my nose...weight loss is at yet another stall...all I have to say about that is it is my own fault...I have not drank jus****er since...hmmmm I don't know. My husband and I are going to try and keep each other motivated...our new years resolution.

Sorry your trip out west wasn't the best!! I think the flu has a hold on us here! I to got sick on New Years Eve of all nights! Spent 2 days in bed with chills so violent I thought I would shake right out of bed! But one good thing it did was give me a jump start on wt loss! Lost 5 lbs that 2 days!!! So I would still say you DANCE!!! (it burns more calories then crying!!!!!) Besides, we all look soooooooooo HOT now we all need to be dancing!!! All we need is a reason!!!!!
