Taekwondo

What do you think of this type of exercise? I'm thinking of joining a class for it but I don't know if it will interest me. I need to tone, I am down to 145 lbs. and I have no muscle and some loose skin, do you think this will help?

Objectives of Taekwondo to develop an appreciation for Taekwondo as a sport and as an art to achieve physical fitness through positive participation to improve mental discipline and emotional equanimity to learn self-defense skills to develop a sense of responsibility for one self and others. This all sounds great to me.. be warned there is a lot of kicking .. high kicking involved in this sport.. and it will surely tone you up! good luck.. peace Mo

i don't know what your goal is but a former taekwondo champion and mixed martial arts fighter that i know tells me that taekwondo is absolutely useless as a martial art and that Brazilian Jui Jitsu is the way to go. Me, i want to start skiing and playing racquetball again.
