Best day yet!!
Yesterday I tracked all of my physical activity on fitday.com. I walked in the A.M. , did tons of house work, mowed the front and side yards, got a little frisky with DH ()and then jogged last night. According to their calculator, I burned over 4,000 calories in one day. Is this even possible? Either way, I woke up six lbs lighter this morning than I was yesterday. What the........!!! Yeah!!!
I'm still going back to basics on Monday though. I'm afraid that this was just a fluke.

Jennifer,
I checked fitday and an hour of snow shoveling burns 375 calories. That's pretty good, but I thought it would be more. That's hard work!!!
Thought you might want to know.
I have heard that after strenous physical activity, your muscles hold on to fluid for awhile and it can appear that you have gained weight. I'm not a weight lifter, but that is what I've heard.
It sounds like you are primed for a drop in weight any day now!

Check the batteries in your scale! Just kidding! That's wonderful! I had the same kind of loss at the end of November, beginning of December. I lost about 10 pounds in just a few days. It was pretty cool. But I haven't lost another pound since then. I guess my body is trying to do the catch up thing again. We'll see what the new year brings. I really want to get rid of another 20 pounds or so. If I were to start gaining at this weight, I'd be fat again in no time flat! GRRRRR I WON'T let that happen!
Congrats again girl!
and thanks for letting me vent! LOL (like you had a choice)
