Back to Basics!
Okay....I have gained 2 lbs over the holidays. I'm very upset at myself for wasting that valuable time. This is good though......now I'm determined to repent!!! I'm going back to basics and lowering my calorie intake this week. I stocked up on protein (nectar pacific cooler & unflavored) and basic protein food (cheese & lunch meat) and I'm working out and jogging everyday.
ANYONE ELSE WITH ME???? If there is anyone interested...we'll start on Monday. That will give you a day and a half to prepare and stock up on essentials. We will be accountable to each other!!! You can do your own plateau-buster program. This is just what I have chosen.
This will be a great way to kick off the New Year!

I'm so glad I wont be alone on this! I'm going to post my food intake each night (protein, calories, carbs and liquids). This way I have to be good or everyone will know it.
Cristi-I will be on a shake and protein diet. In other words only foods with protein like: cheese, lunch meat, rotisserie chicken and of course lots of protein shakes.
I just bought the Nectar Caribbean Cooler. It has a Pina Colada flavor. I blend it with ice, lite orange juice and a little bit of pineapple (1-2 tbl spoons). It's very tasty!! But just to warn you, it makes me go to the bathroom (#1) all day long. I also have the unflavored powder from Hi-Health that I blend with frozen berries, vanilla extract and a little lite oj. Mmmmmm!!!
I stocked up on interesting cheeses. Babybel, havarti, Parmesano- Reggiano , extra sharp cheddar and goat cheese. Then I bought a rotisserie chicken to snack on and some yummy deli meats-rare roast beef and honey maple turkey. I still have some protein bars left that I will be snacking on as well.
I will try to keep my calories around the 800 mark.
I think Kimberly will be doing all liquids. So that's a great idea too.
These are just some ideas for you, but do whatever sounds good to you.

I"M SO WITH YOU...
I can eat anything and not get sick.. and i've been in dulging in pretzels and goldfish cheddar snacks.. and m and m's... over the last 2 weeks I've gained 5 pounds.. i woke up one monday to a 6 pound gain over night.. i was so bloated.. and have been an emotional wreck for 2 months now- crying.. i started walking on the treadmill like i used too- 3 miles a day- and only lost 2 pounds of that gain.. so i need to be held accountable for what i eat and exercise.. each day- starting MONDAY for sure.. I'm in... i'm so afraid i'm done losing.. and i'm only 6 months out (in the morning- my 6 month anniversary) today i'm at 175 pounds (100 pounds from my highest) but i was down to 170... and I really want to see 150...(well 160 first..)- actually my personal goal i lowered (i wanted before 165.. but now i really want to maintain at 145 pounds.. I would love that so much.. so I want to work to that... we can do this JULY PEOPLE- together we can do it.... come on 2006..

Count me in guys? I have been buying foods at Trader Joe's and I'm eating alot of stuff that has high protien. I'm trying to get my protien in by foods, shakes don't do to well for me. I try but I get tierd of them really fast. I hope each and everyone haves a safe and wonderful New Year!!!!!!!! By the way if anyone likes Tofu that would be another thing two try its low in calories and high in protien.Just a thought?
Count me in too! back to basics sounds just right.. I am resolving to getting my protein in by drink and food.. i usually do the Nector Tealicious.. i jst mix it with wtar and ice and it tastes just like iced tea.. not thick or gritty at all.... All I have to do now is vow to have one every day... I also need to concentrate more on just protein rich foods.. I'll be stocking up on Meats and shrimp.. i haven't really had a gaining episode yet, but my weight seems to stall for a week or two.. and it drives me nuts..
