Thanks for the reply Sue. I think the protein idea is a good one and I did make one last night and will do so again tonight. I bought the sample basket at bariatriceating.com and it has some good ones in it plus I have some I got at GNC when I had my surgery. Im going to try making one again tonight. Maybe I am not getting enough........ What kind of menu are you guys eating every day? Thanks again. Pam

Hey Lisa....thanks for replying. You know....misery loves company but in this case it is like, if there are others maybe we will succeed! we are not alone! I know it is hard to see others lose so much and us sit under 50. A friend of mine is down 58 pounds and she is only about two months out if that. I am glad for her but when do I get mine? I have almost given up but I won't yet; I'll keep plugging away. I really am trying to eat okay and feel most of the time I do. Keep in touch. We need each other Pam w

I've been pretty lucky in the food department. I can pretty much eat everything. The only time I feel a little yucky or uncomfortable is if I eat too much so I've kind of learned when enough is enough. Yesterday I had a scrambled egg for breakfast, a little bit of pasta...heavy on the meat sauce for lunch and for dinner I had steak with onions and mushrooms with some broccoli on the side and two sugar-free cookies for dessert. I also snuck in a protein shake for a snack. The only troubles I've had so far was kidney stones which I already had a history of and didn't realize that I shouldn't have been taking Tums for my calcium because they are calcium carbonate which is no good for people with stones. I now take liquid calcium citrate by Tropical Oasis that I get from bariatriceating.com. It's orange flavored and tastes terrifi****ep it in the frig and take a small sip morning and night.....very yummy and beats the horse sized pills or chewables I would have to take otherwise. That product gets total rave reviews from me.... I'm going to try their liquid vitamins next with the hopes that I tastes as good as the calcium. ~Sue
