I'm a grandma!

My first grandson was born this morning at 6:37 am! Noah is 7 pounds, 4 ounces, 2 weeks early, 19 inches long. My daughter was in labor less than 10 hours and didn't suffer too much because of the epidural- and only had to push for 10 minutes! Wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy for all of us??? Merry Christmas everyone!!!

What a blessing you received on Christmas day! I've got two sons, 16 and 20, and can't imagine being a grandma anytime soon (although I've heard that you feel completely different at being a grandmother than a mom). I've been a mom since I was 17 and think I need a few years of "me" time before being a grandma. Congrats again, Michele, on the wonderful addition to your family! Maria

AWWWWWWWWW Tears.... How absolutely precious! Can't wait to see pictures! I'm so glad all went well, and everyone is doing fine! My son's birthday is the 21st - people often forget, or don't bother, to get separate gifts for b-day and Christmas. It's a challenge having a Christmas baby. But a true blessing!
