You guys are at another stall. Same as me. I hadnt lost anything for 2 1/2 weeks, but today I stepped on the scale, and boom I was down 3 pounds. Make sure you're exercising every day and getting in your water. That helps a TON.

First of all congrats on your 100 pounds. No you're not finished losing. That is downright amazing in 5 months especially for starting out a "lightweight" (if you only have 13 to goal, you're a lightweight, most people who only have 100-125 pounds to lose, lose it much slower than you, like a year at least, consider yourself blessed.) I know you're happy with what you have lost so far but please don't freek out, there are people on here who are FAR behind you and still have much more to go for goal. I have lost 70 and still have around 40 to go. 100 pounds in 5 months is bound to do something to your body make-up, it's probably in shock and needs to catch up. I don't mean to flame you but so many of us aren't even close to goal and it's hard to read posts like this. Sounds like you're not getting enough calories. I've heard from so many people and doctors that it should be closer to 1000 by 5-6 months. I upted my calories over Thanksgiving and lost 3 pounds in 5 days. You might be surprised that you're not eating enough to lose weight right now. Janice E. 260/190/14?ish

Why do you come here and ask if you're done losing- how the hell would we know? Most of us haven't lost anywhere close to what you have lost (and those that have have much more to lose so they are still far from their goal too) so why would you ask that question here? Janice was graceful in the way that she said what she did. I am not. I went back and read some of your posts- on December 2 you said you already met your doctors goal of 150. Then on the get to know you post you said you weighed 160. Which is it? You also said that you don't eat right and you have been very sick and throwing up- no wonder! It's called ANOREXIA. I think you need to hightail it down to your PCP's office and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist- you need help BAD. Posts like yours really **** me off. Sorry.

I do not post a lot but I feel that this time I need to state my feelings. I am sorry but I feel that you are being quite rude with your comments here. This is a site that people should feel free to express THEIR feelings. We should not have to worry about everyone elses feelings, all the time. As you see, by other peoples posts, there are some people that feel the same way as she does and this may be helping them, to see that there are others like them, having the same stall. You have a choice to read these posts or not. You do not have to read them or you can just be happy for how good that person has done for themselves. Lets all remember that we are here for SUPPORT, not to be ridiculed for our thoughts, worries, happiness, etc.

Vernon- I agree with you that people need to state their opinions-- But isn't it Michele's right to state her opinions too? We are usually a very supportive group, and Michele has been one of the most supportive on the board. If you have read her past posts, she has helped a lot of us. I agree there are other people that feel the same way as our original poster, but I am sure there are plenty that relate to Michele's sentiments as well. I for one, have a hard time feeling empathy for someone who is 13 pounds away from goal at 5 months out. While I might not have posted a reply, Michele has just as much of a right to state her feelings. Finally, the concern for our poster having anorexia is REAL. Remember eating disorders can swing from one extreme to the other. If we all have bad body images from being beaten down as an overweight person, it's really easy to go into anorexia mode.... Surgeons look for that tendency. So it is a real concern. In short- if you post here, other's can post their feelings too. Regards, Andrea

Thanks Andrea. That's just what I was gonna say. Vernon, I admire you for speaking up. You're so right that everyone has a right to speak their feelings- and so do I. We don't always agree and sometimes things just must be said out loud.

Honey don't hate because you need to loose more than me. I have freaking feelings too. I did not say I lost 150 lbs. If you see that anywhere let me know where. People like you don't even need to be on here giving advise if you are going to be a freaking witch about it. You need to get your **** right before you reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amy
