I'm freezing!!!!!!!!!
Hey everybody,
I have been freezing for months now! I used to work up a sweat walking to the mail box, but now I'm cold all of the time!!! I'm still chubby so I know that I haven't lost ALL of my insulation, but I always seem unusually cold. I went to the movies twice this weekend with my son and he seemed perfectly content in a short sleeved tee-shirt and jeans and I was covered head to toe AND in a jacket and was still freezing my ninnies off!! What 's the deal? Is this weight-loss related. Part of it might be that we live in Arizona and we are always unprepared for the cold weather, but I still seem to be the coldest person (big or small) in the room!!
Bye now, I have to go turn on the heater and stoke up the fireplace!
Happy Holidays!!!!!
C Leigh - I used the angst guy because there wasn't a teeth-chattering guy! Ha!
I was always sweating and would be embarrassed because sweat poured off my face....... NOW I DO GET COLD and CHILLED.. I used to sleep with window open in the middle of winter because I would wake up drenched. My poor heart what it must have gone through when I was 83 lbs heavier... Definitely see a normal improvement... I wear blazers and sweaters comfortably now.. No more running in the walk in freezer claiming menopause... Guese I have a few more fertile years!
I actually ovulate now .... get chills when that happens... love to hear if you can time the cycle again.. I can...
Im glad you posted this! I thought something was wrong with me! I am more than insulated (since I still have over 100 lbs to lose) I live in NJ and we get pretty cold winters and I used to wear short sleeved T-shirts year round, and for a jacket, I would wear a thin sweat jacket. Now, Im constantly cold. When I was 91 lbs heavier, I went to bed in a tank top and underwear and now, im all covered up in flannel pants and socks and sweatshirts. And at work I actually have a little heater I keep under my desk.
Last year at Xmas time, when I went to the stores I would sweat up a storm. Now, I keep my heavy winter coat on (usually) and dont even break a sweat. Go figure!! I cant wait to see what happens in the summertime. I usually dread summer because Im always sweating my ass off, but I have a feeling that we all may enjoy our summers a little more now
I'm freezing too. Whenever I go out. However, I've reached that age where I get "warm flashes". So, I dress in layers. Usually I freeze, but then for a brief moment or two I heat up, then I freeze.
In reading the messages from the long timers, they say it gets better when we're more than a year out.
