I am Freaking Out !!

I know we post that we stall . Ok now I have gained weight. I increased my protein, my excercise and water. I have been not only stalled(been the same weight since Nov,9) but have gained 2 pounds. I just want to someone. What the F&^K is going on. Have anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions? I am just freaking

I feel your pain Pam...I stay at the same range for about a week and a half then drop like 4 or 5 pounds and stay at or below that range until the next little stall.... Don't forget--you may be gaining muscle. Keep Smiling Mandie

Pam - I hear ya! It's so frustrating and discouraging when these stalls / small gains happen, but remember, it's only temporary. Don't forget that both protein and exercise build muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Try taking your measurements (or just noticing if your clothes are looser). You may still be losing inches and getting smaller, even if the scale seems to be going the wrong way. It could also just be another period of adjustment for your body before it decides, "OK, all is still well (we're not actually starving) - let's drop some more pounds." You sound like you're doin' everything right. Just keep it up and hang in there! I'll think happy thoughts for you! Cheers, Tara

I have my measurements taken every month at Curves. I have been losing on the average of 10 lbs a month but I do not think I am going to reach that this month. Oh well waiting for the weight to just POP off. Thanks for yor email Hugs Pam

Pam, I lost and gained the same 4 lbs three times in three weeks. UGH...It was so frusterating!! Thanksgiving came along and for what ever reason, it broke my stall and I've lost 8 lbs since then. My point is that when your body decides that you are not starving it will give up the weight again. I'm sure that you will be rolling along very soon. Just hang in there!! I know it sucks! C Leigh

Thanks C Leigh Frustrated with a capital F is how I feel. I even had my first cheat since I started my diet (a cookie) but even with the cookie my calories for the day are 850 Oh well just got to wait till my body wants me to lose. Hugs Pam
