Are you eating more regular food ?
I dont know if I am becoming braver or just bored of all the same foods Ive been eating for the last 5 months... but I have been trying more regular food. Ive found I can eat chips & Salsa at our favorite Mexican restaurant, as well as spanish rice, beans, and tacos. I can eat pasta of most kind too. I have even tried some cookies and snack foods ( cheese its, pot.chips ( in very small quanties) a bite here or a bite there. I used to be so cautious and careful in the past.... and I dont want to start bad habits by eating the wrong thing ( even in the small quanties I do)... but I am just so bored of some of the bland soft food choices Ive become accustom to. Am I bad ???

Hey there Alicia....
I pretty much eat exactly what my family eats, but in smaller quantities. I still try to get at least one protein shake in a day, if not two. I also still eat yogurt with unflavored unjury in it for extra protein.
I had my surgery on 7/11 and have dropped 93 lbs since surgery, 101 since my highest. I have found that I can eat doritos with bean dip...a couple of chips of course, but it is nice to be eating regular again.
Good luck!
Just me...Jess
If you're bad, then I am, too! I pretty much eat 'regular' food, just a lot less of it! Naturally, I'm keeping an eye on my protein... I need to do better with the choices - I'm a bit of a Wheat Thins junkie, which is OK when you can only eat 4 crackers, but I'm worried about later on, when I can eat more.
I totally eat everything now except I do avoid sugar and of course eat much smaller quantities. I was having a hard time with finding quick things to eat for breakfast so I just started adding unflavored Unjury protein powder to corn muffin mix. First try I added one scoop and today I tried adding 1 1/2 scoops. Next time I'll try two full scoops in the mix. The unflavored Unjury powder is great...does not add any flavor and doesn't change the texture at all when baking things and has 20 grams of protein per scoop.
Oh...and for those who haven't tried them, Murray's sugar free cookies which you can find in your local grocery store are Fabulous!!!
