WHo would have thought!
I took my 77 year old dad to the Casino last night. We are very close as I am the youngest daughter and was born on his birthday... He has been my biggest supporter through most of my life - my ups and downs and sicknesses and wedding cancellations... He was my life line getting me back on my feet when I felt horrible.
AS we were leaving he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and said:
You know I am not crazy about the men that keep circling you. I asked what he meant. He said everytime you sat to play you attracted men on each side. When you walk pass people heads turn.. Men take second looks.. Your haircut and makeup and look so nice on you.
I want you to be careful.
I was so busy concentrating on hitting a jackpot at one of the machines- I had not noticed. Of course men seemed friendlier. I was flattered he was concerned.. He then said you look so nice- You are always smiling- be careful so no one breaks your heart don't settle for less than you deserve.
I had tears in my eyes. That was the last thing I was thinking about. I have been working 2 jobs- trying to get ahead and still take he and my mom out a couple times a week. I do feel better and have more energy.
I am feeling a bit more out going and confident... But that took me by suprize...
