My sister in law

Yesterday my skinny sister in law dropped by (hadn't seen me since before surgery) and she said "Wow you have lost so much weight, what are you gonna do with your butt and hips?" ok well.... skdjroiewur)()*)*)(*$#OKJ#KLJKL#$HJKJHDSUED(*U()ER#(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, that I've gotten that out, I really could not believe she said that! I felt like saying something really mean, but instead I said stuff like, well I do still have 40 or so pounds left to lose, maybe that will come off next, or that is just how I am shaped, blah blah blah.... Urggggghhhhhh!!!!! Then she starts saying how fat she is, and says "I am a size 8, I am so fat...blah blah"

People like that urk the crap out of me! They KNOW they aren't fat, they just like to hear people say, "oh, your not fat! Your so perfect!" When peole like that say stuff to me, I dont comment at all. She's probably getting jealous because she knows your going to look better than her. Keep up the good work! Tiffany

Cristi, What a b*tch!! My mother-in-law always tells me she is fat (at a size 6). I just tell her that she should go on a diet if she's not happy with herself. This always catches her off gaurd!! She just expects that I will shower her with compliments because everyone else does when she says that. These people are just fishing for compliments and have no idea how needy they come across. When you get to a size six, you can ask her what she's gonna do about the size of her...(fill in the blank)! --JK! Okay, okay... happy thoughts! You're doing great on your weight loss! Cristi, I am right along with everyone else. People who say these type of things are looking for compliments. Think about how many times we have thought to ourselves that we knew we were big, but didn't say anything because we didn't want people to make remarks. Just put that in reverse. These type of people want to hear that they look fine the way they are. Maybe someday I will say it, many moons from now, just to hear how good I look and how far I have come. (And to see if anyone notices me). I hope you know what I mean...sometimes I have a hard time writing it. Keep your head up HIGH...you are doing great and are looking great!!!! Ugh, sounds like your stuck with the same sister in law that I have. She is really skinny after two kids and pre-op she was always rubbing in how small her butt is and how loose her clothes are and then other days she is like "oh I'm fat, I need to go on a diet!" Then a month ago, she is "oh, you look better" and then I explained my surgery to her and how small they made my stomach. Well, during thanksgiving my husband's aunt told me when she came over, she packed this whole plate of food and after picking at it, she almost threw the whole plate away. When my aunt asked her why she is doing that, she told her "oh my stomach is only the size of my fist and I cant eat that much" (same thing I showed her). What an attention ***** why would you take so much food then ... she wanted the same attention I was getting cuz everyone said I look awesome cuz they havent seen me in a couple of months. I think we should just ignore them ... jealousy makes you nasty as the old saying goes!!!

Geez Christi....I hate it when people forget to engage their brains before putting their mouths in gear. I had one of the guys at work tell me today that I should stop losing weight now,even tho I still want to lose another 90+. This guy would go flying in a strong wind too. Thats why I stopped listening to any of the "constructive" criticism and only pay attention to the compliments now. By the way, I thought you looked really cute in those B & B pictures. Happy too. I can NOT believe she actually said that. Just know that SHE is the one with the problem She is insecure for sure! You look awesome. I was reading your profile. I wanted to comment on your problem eating that seems to happen at work. I have a big problem eating and getting stuff down when I am stressed out. (and it sounds like you are when you are at work sometimes). I pretty much can only handle mushy stuff like yogurt when I am stressed out. So I sometimes take some of that carb countdown yogurt with me when I know work is going to be crazy! I don't know why this is...but I know that my MIL and SIL who have both had the surgery say they have the same thing when they are stressed. Again, ignore that stupid SIL of yours!!!!!
