How MUCH are you eating?
It seems lately I've been able to eat ALOT more!! Depending on the consistency of the food, I can eat almost a cup of food.
Last night I had 1 and a 1/2 slices of pizza (large) and today I could eat 1/2 a sandwich and 3 hours later I could eat the other half.
This is really worrying me cuz this is alot, especially this week ... Did I stretch my stomach?? I'm really worried, as of tomorrow I'm going back to measuring my food ...
If its not one thing its another ... atleast I'm still loosing weight ... knock on wood!!

I think I can eat more too. However I am still go up and down the scales 2 or 3 lbs. but by the end of the week I either stay the same or lose.
(Have to stop being a scale *****)
I only eat the top of the pizza. Have not done any breads yet. My problem is snacking on nuts. I seem to have gotten addicted to almonds.
Like you say if it not one thihg its another.
hugs to y'all

Im so thankful to hear that others are eating more too! I too can eat a whole slice of pizza. Im talking regular thin crust pizza from a pizza parlor...not fake pizza hut/ pappa johns/ dominos. I agree that depending on the consistency, you can eat more or less. I definitely notice that when i eat, i get hungry quicker than before surgery when i would gorge myself and be stuffed for hours. Maybe that is because we no longer stuff ourselves where we feel like we are about to burst. I know that personally, i eat until i feel satisfied, and then in about 20 minutes or so, the food settles in more, and i feel full.
As long as we're still losing, right!

Marlize,
I met my husband for dinner last night after work. Over the course of an hour, I had half of a dinner salad, a pc. of bread, potatoes and a few bites of steak. I thought they would have to roll me out of the restaurant!! It felt like so much food, but when I looked at what was left, I realized that I had hardly touched it-even for restaurant portions.
I think our perspective has been a bit warped (in a good way). I see what other "dieting" people are eating and their portions still dwarf what I am able to eat.
If you're still losing, then you are consuming much calories than you are burning everyday. No worries!! You are doing fantastic!! If you're really worried about it, then you're right--measure your intake once again.

Mmmm, thats not good that your not eating enough or having trouble getting your protien in ... maybe you should call your surgeon cuz I did hear that the opening between your stomach and intestines can close up and cause you not to be able to eat cuz the food cant go through so your stomach stays full longer ...
Good luck girl, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it gets better and you get off the stall!!
