how many calories are you eating?
I have recently started using fitday.com and I am not getting more than 650 calories a day based on this program.
I honestly dont know how much Im supposed to be getting in order to loose weight but Im on a friggen plateau and i wanna break it.
For instance, so far today i have only had 2g of carbs.
I havent wanted to eat in the last three days..im trying very hard to loose the 8 pounds i gained over thanksgiving but i swear I didnt eat more than i really should have.
Why is loosing this fat harder than i thought it would be?
I have a friend giving me a treadmill (bless her heart) I am thankful for this as walking outside in the cold is hurting my asthma lungs.
maybe im not getting enough calories/carbs to keep up my matabolism?
Im stumped.
If anyone has suggestions for me Id appreciate it.

Make sure you are eating enough and getting in the protein and water. I have noticed that when I do, it usually "jump starts" my loss. If you are physically unable to eat, such as swallowing, you should make sure to go to the doctor, you may have a stricture. How much have you lost so far?

You sound very frustrated, and understandibly so.
My program wants me to get between 600-800 calories at this point. I think they will up it to 1000 in about two weeks though. As far as carbs, it's 120 g/day on my program. Yes, I know that sounds high.
I was just writing Tiffany about the same thing. I upped my calories to break the stall, and it worked. I'm not saying that this is the magic bullet, but it worked for me.
When I plateaued I gained and lost the same 4 pounds three times. I think it's just part of the process, but I know how frustrating it is, especially when you are hearing of others successes.
Hang in there girl, your body will give it up shortly, just you watch!!

P.S.-I chuckled when I saw you use the word "friggen". My husband says that all the time.
sorry you are so frustrated. I use fit day as well, and get between 700-900 calories a day.
Are you inputing your liquids into fitday? That helps me make sure I am getting enough liquids in.
Hang in there. Do you have a video/DVD player. I do "Walk Away the Pounds" when I can't get to the gym. You can do it inside and it is for different levels.
