Stall...Stall....Stall...Stall....
Ive been on a stall now for close to 3 weeks....its getting so discouraging. Anyone else been on a stall? I cant seem to get below that 280 mark. Its killing me. Up and down, up and down. You'd think that with all this Xmas shopping, Id shed a few pounds! If anyone has any suggestions on how to beat this it would greatly help. I heard of something called a pleateau buster on a post a while back. Someone had posted a link. If anyone knows of it, can they pass it along?
Hope everyone is doing good otherwise!

it seems like i'm ALWAYS on a stall, yet somehow i wind up losing lots of weight. it's just coming off in chunks. ooops, there goes another one! (i wish lol)
for some reason overnight last week i wound up being 8lbs heavier. i'm just now back to where i was. so i feel like i'm in another stall. it's been a few weeks with zero progress. but if i want i can look at it like i lost 8lbs this week.
my experience with plateau busters is that if you can think something up, somewhere on the web, someone will have called it a plateau buster. whether it's eat more, eat less, excercise more, drink only fluids, drink only protein, get more protein, get less protein, drink more water, drink less water, etc etc etc.
I think the best plateau buster is to keep doing what we're supposed to, eat often, eat the right foods, excercise and drink lots of water. If i do that I'll keep on losing, but sometimes my body will take little breaks to catch up. I'm just keeping my metabolism up (eating often and excercising) and eating right.
Tiffany,
I was on stall for two weeks, lost a couple of pounds and then stalled again for three weeks. I was so stressed out about it!!! I can only tell you what worked for me. The first time I stalled, I increased my protein through shakes. It helped a bit, but I ended up on stall again soon after. The second time, I said, "Screw it!! I'm gonna eat MORE!" That seemed to break my stall. I lost 4 lbs in nine days and I'm still loosing at that rate. I'm giving it a couple more days then lowering my calories back down. I don't know what the right advice is, all I can do is tell you what worked for me.
Good luck to you, I know just how frusterating this situation is.
