Question for the guys

Hey boys, I have a wonderful husband who during the "weight gaining" years never said anything to me about my "huge problem" (also known as my big butt). I have always been grateful that he was never embarrassed by me or belittled me for my weight problems. But now that I'm losing weight, he doesn't seem to notice that either!!! What's up with that!!! I know, I know, I shouldn't complain, but I'm literally working my butt off, and he doesn't seem to be aware of it. How do I get him to notice that I'm not a size gi-normous anymore? Or maybe he notices, but says nothing, I can't tell. Any thoughts, clues, advice. Anything, anything at all? C Leigh

C Leigh ~ Since I'm not a guy, I can't give much advice. I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. Sometimes I think that my husband should "want" (aka lust) more for me than he does. It's definitely a challenge because I've been receiving lots of attention from other guys - just not the one I want to notice! I finally told him that it bothered me that he didn't act like he wanted me more! He told me that he is much more physically attracted to me but loves me the same as he always has. He's also been going through some stress at work but it's getting better. I still constantly ask him, "Do you want me?" and he always assures me that he does. Good luck, Maria

Well, Maria and C-Leigh, I am joining this club. My husband notices, sort of. But I feel like I have to point it out to him, and then, he says something, half hearted like, yeah that is great. I am wondering if they feel left out of this part of our life, and if it all overwhelmes them? Maybe they resent us thinking about it all the time? I don't know. But it bothers me too. I bought my first pair of size 18 jeans yesterday. I showed them to the hubby. I said "look what size they are." He didn't even remember that I was in a 20 before. He's got a lot going on at work, we are stressed about remodeling the house and the lack of funds... so I am sure that doesn't help. But I am right there with ya.
