Today I am so Thankful for making the hugest step in my life by having WLS. I am thankful everyday that I had this wonderful surgery that gave me back a life.
It would be great to hear from all of you.
Have a blessed Holiday. Enjoy your families and friends.
Try not to over indulge. I am going to try the 3 bite rule. If I want to try it only take 3 bites.
Love to you all

Hi Pam! Love the new picture!
I am thankful for:
My health, which is pretty good for a 48 year old old lady!
My 2 beautiful, healthy children- one of whom is going to make me a grandmother in another month!
That we have a nice, cozy warm place to live, with plenty of clothes, food, and more than the basic necessities.
My husband, who has put up with my crap for about 8 years now!
The fact that my mother, at age 72, is in pretty good health too, and she is my best friend.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Michele
Thanks for this opportunity to share the biggest blessings in my life this year.
First, I'm grateful for my husband, Richard. This December 28 will mark our 20th anniversary. He has been with me through so much, and is the most romantic guy in the world.
I'm grateful for my two daughters, Amy and Becky. They are 17 and 18 and are turning into beautiful adults before my very eyes.
I'm incredibly grateful for WLS. I am so much happier now than I've been in years with all the extra energy and improved health (not to mention the compliments!).
Finally, I'm grateful for a renewed spiritual life. I found an online Bible study relating to overcoming overeating called The Lord's Table. It has had the effect of actually setting me free of the overeating lifestyle that got me into trouble in the first place, plus helping me be closer to Jesus.
It's been an awesome year!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all,
Sally
I too am greatful for WLS...that the timing was right, and I had wonderful insurance to cover almost all of it.
I'm greatful that the diabetes and high blood pressure is gone.
I'm greatful that 65 pounds are gone.
I'm greatful for my husband, my children and my grand children.
I'm greatful for friends and family who love me and support me.
