Anyone have back problems out there? I started having muscle spasms last week and although it is getting better, it is not 100%. Advice appreciated.

I've had them for awhile (read my profile if you want to). I feel your pain because they totally suck!! I went to my PCP and he gave me some exercises to do and they help a little. This past week I started doing my Walk Away the Pounds videos and I think that has helped too. My surgeon couldn't really help me out but you should start with your PCP. Hope you feel better! Tina

I read your profile. Thanks for the support, and I hope both our backs get better. Andrea

Hey Andrea; I'm sorry you're hurting. I used to have back problems, but not since the surgery. Knock on wood. Just wanted to say I feel for you and hope it gets better soon! Michele

Wow! Look at that photo. You look amazing! Thanks for the well wishes. It sucks. I am so frustrated because I can't move too much until it goes away. Sitting aggravates and guess what I do all week?????

I second trying stretching exercises. I have had back problems for many years now following a pretty wicked car accident. Two other things I would suggest is: Go to a chiropractor. After losing a large amount of weight the spine may need a bit help in adjusting itself as your weight adjusts. Get your PCP to give you a script for Skelaxin. It is the only med that has helped my back when I was having muscle spasms. Check with your surgeon but I am pretty sure it is safe to take post surgery. Kathie 285/272/**229**/150ish?
