Well, I guess I will continue the weekly weigh-in. Ugh, though. Halloween was HARD. I haven't stayed completely away from all the candy, but better than I was.
Congratulations, Cheryl, for staying away from the bad stuff! That's awesome! I am getting better. A friend of mine called herself a sugar *****; I think that I am, too! Must... stay... away... And congrats on your son's first b-day. I remember those days! They are so fun. Every age of my son has been my favorite. I love being a Mom!
Anyway, here are my stats for today:
Starting weight - 360
Surgery weight - 345
Today's weight - 250
Total weight lost - 110 (95 since surgery)
Goal weight - 160 - I am over half way there!!
Good luck everyone! I hope this week was successful for us all.

I didn't lose any inches this week, but I've had a rough week. About 10 days ago, I started experiencing nausea and a stabbing pain where my pouch is. This is totally out of the blue because I've felt fabulous! I couldn't get in to see my surgeon right away, so the nurse told me to go to the ER if the pain got worse. Well it did...and I did. They ruled out a hernia or obstruction, gave me some IV fluids, as I wasn't getting down enough, and something for pain. I saw my doctor on Tuesday, and he was concerned, told me to continue pain meds and scheduled an EGD for Thursday. He was thinking an ulcer. The EGD showed nothing at all, which was good of course, but at least I would have known what was going on. I'm to go back this Tuesday, and they want me to do the barium thing. Last time I did it, I threw up for hours! So I'm not looking forward to that at all. The pain isn't constant anymore, it just comes and goes, mostly after I eat or drink. But he said the pouch was perfect, so we're a bit perplexed at the moment.
I'm keeping a positive outlook though, was a size 24 and put on a size 14 shirt yesterday. What an incredible feeling. Funny but for the first time ever, I'm smaller than my husband and my daughter!!! (My hubby got weighed at the doctor the other day and he said he weighed heavy because he was wearing heavy shoes! )
Anyway, sorry so long winded....hope everyone has a great week!
Kaitlain
Ack, Kaitlain! Good luck with everything. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. Thank goodness they haven't found anything terribly wrong, but I do hope they find something easily fixable (so your pain/nausea will go away.) How scary!!
Will be thinkining of you on Tuesday and hoping it goes better than last time. Ugh, I hate to throw up.
GREAT job at being smaller than hubby! Must feel pretty good, huh?
Take care hun.

slow but steady, i am greatful for the slow now i think although i would like to lose all my weight I am dreading the issues with skin. My neck kinda looks like a turkey neck now just in time for Thanksgiving.. I hope it will firm up, on the up side I am down to one chin from 5.
Almost didn't post. I gained this week.
Which of course, means I will end up weighing myself daily throughout next week. I actually through my back out so I have been VERY sedentary, although my calories have low too. Hopefully I wll be back to walking and exercising by next week.
Anyway here it goes:
